Experienced DevSecOps and Cloud Engineer with a strong background in full-stack development and secure software delivery. Skilled in designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud-based solutions while integrating security best practices across the software development lifecycle. Proficient in React Native, Flutter/Dart, JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and NoSQL databases, with hands-on expertise in cybersecurity, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and quality control.

Proven track record as a Scrum Master and Lead Developer, driving agile teams to deliver high-quality applications with a focus on performance, security, and user experience. Passionate about bridging the gap between development, operations, and security to enable resilient, efficient, and secure digital solutions.

As Chairperson of the Mngqibisa Foundation, I have dedicated my leadership to building a youth-driven non-profit that addresses South Africa’s socio-economic challenges through education, innovation, and community empowerment. Since 2014, I have guided the Foundation’s strategic vision, governance, and programme development, ensuring that all initiatives are impactful, sustainable, and transparent.

A key highlight of my tenure has been the launch of EduHelp AI, our flagship initiative introduced on Mandela Day 2025. EduHelp AI is South Africa’s first free, multilingual, AI-powered educational assistant aligned with the CAPS and IEB curricula. It supports learners in Grades 1–12, university students, parents, and teachers by using a Socratic approach in promoting critical thinking and guided learning rather than simple answers. With availability in all 11 official languages, data privacy safeguards, and zero cost, paywalls or advertising barriers, EduHelp AI represents a significant step forward in bridging educational inequalities and promoting inclusive access to quality learning tools.

Beyond EduHelp AI, I have overseen impactful campaigns such as the Growsmart Initiative, in partnership with GrowthPoint Properties, Suggest a Cause, and our mentorship and outreach programmes. These initiatives collectively drive community upliftment, capacity building, and youth empowerment while embedding rigorous monitoring, evaluation, and accountability frameworks.

My role spans strategic leadership, fundraising, donor and stakeholder engagement, programme evaluation, and governance oversight. I believe in empowering young people to be active problem-solvers, equipping them with the tools, opportunities, and confidence to shape their futures.

By combining strategic planning with on-the-ground impact, I strive to ensure that the Mngqibisa Foundation not only addresses immediate needs but also creates sustainable pathways for long-term transformation.
